Privacy policy

1. What we collect

When you register: your name, email address and the exams you follow. We use it to personalise your preparation, take payments securely and send important updates.

When you write to us through the Contact form: your name, your mobile number, your message and, if you give one, your email address. We use them only to answer your question, by phone or email, and to check how the matter was handled. We do not use them for marketing.

We keep a contact message until your question is resolved and for up to 12 months after that, so we can follow up. You can ask us to delete it sooner through support.

2. Cookies

We set only the cookies and browser storage the site needs to work. All of them are strictly necessary, so none of them asks for your consent. What we set:

• better-auth.session_token (a cookie; on the live site its name starts with __Secure-): keeps you signed in. It lasts up to 30 days and is renewed while you use the site. Signing out removes it. Strictly necessary.
• better-auth.state (a cookie, set only while you sign in with Google): protects the Google sign-in from forgery. It lasts 5 minutes and is removed when the sign-in finishes. Strictly necessary.
• signed_in, user_role and user_info (browser storage): remember on this device that you are signed in, and your role and name, so menus show at once. They stay until you sign out. Strictly necessary.
• exam-backup (browser storage): a copy of your answers while an exam is open, so a dropped connection does not lose them. It is removed when you submit. Strictly necessary.
• guj_article_recovery (browser storage, used by editors only): a copy of an article being written, so a closed tab does not lose it. It is removed once the article is saved or discarded. Strictly necessary.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. If we ever add any, we will ask for your consent first. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but the site cannot keep you signed in without the session cookie.

3. Sharing

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information.

4. Deleting your account

You can ask us to delete your account and personal data at any time through support. After we verify it is you, your data is removed from our active systems within 30 days.
